change of luck
Saturday, January 31, 2004
juz returned frm mdm pauline's place. ate some great finger food cooked by mdm and pizzas. and caught up wif many of the old mpb kakis! we started our gambling den without much delay. there were me, zuoming, kenji, joseph, william, huayi, kelvin, mark and yiteck playing - blackjack.
guess wad??! i went broke after losing all my $17 in wallet and still owned zm $2. no choice, i opened up mdm's "hongbao" to pay him. with some cash of $8 left. i decided to play again... hoping there will be a change of luck.
it was huayi who realised i've been winning since the return and soon, he and kenji were investing some of their cash in me. wooaahhh!! on and on, my winning streak kept gg until i realised my balance was already an alarming figure of 60 bucks!!
all the guys realised tat now, so i was forced to be the banker for the next 2 rounds. luck still struck by my side as i won the 2 rounds again. before we decided to call it a day, they forced me to play a final last round with all of them - make-or-break round. the day summed up quite clearly, it was my day!! i swept all their money again... i didnt count the money i've made till i reached home now... wahhh!! $120 dollars!!!!! can u believe it? wad a change of luck!

pre-CNY shooping cum gym regime
Tuesday, January 20, 2004
took lve frm work today so i can go buy my running shoes. the longer i wait, the more my stamina is gg to drop. a pair of running shoes at home will make me wanna go jogging every night, juz like the same old days with my asics!! lalala..
bought this new pair at world of sports in lot1, cck. it's a pair of mizuno wave® maverick 2. wanted to get a pair of asics shoes but couldnt find any favourable design. so decided to invest in mizuno's products, since i've already got a pair of soccer boots and street-soccer boots both mizuno brand. didnt take me long before i decided on this pair. nice colour and design, light weight, reasonable price, so dylanising (looks great in my feet) , etc...
i signed up as a member with world of sports too. paid $38 for the membership card and got a spalding basketball, ankle socks, one pair swimming googles and a columbia waist pouch in return!! wahhh!! so worth it... then again, money well spent.
after tat, i met up with zhiwei for gym work out at cck sports complex. like the place alot as it's not so crowded like the jurong east. the thought of consuming sinful food like ba kua, roasted pork, crackers, tarts, candies, etc during the festi period spurred me on!
arrgghhh... fuck! think i over trained and now, not only the usual body ache, i oso got a strain on my upper back. shall ask mum to massage for me later.

Saturday, January 17, 2004
did a simple love quiz... here are the results:-
1. You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and
free.
2. In the process of courtship, the approach that would make you
feel irresistable is creative, never let you feel bored.
3. The impression you would like to give to your lover is loyal,
faithful, never change.
4. You don't like it when your partner is emotional and/or too
moody; and you don't know how to please him/her.
5. The kind of relationship you would like to build with your
partner is one that you care not only about the present but
also the future with your partner, a long-lasting relationship
that you can grow with.
6. You care about the society and morality, you won't do anything
wrong after marriage.
7. You think of marriage as a precious thing. Once you get married,
you'll treasure it and your partner very much.
8. At this moment, you think of love as a committment for both parties.
hahahh.. how true is it? i guess only i'll know.

one boring afternoon
Saturday, January 10, 2004
went to marina south for safti life run this morning. i didnt run at all, juz walk. the place is quite nice with beautiful scenaries, especially for couples who wanna have sometime together away frm the crowds. of course there will be cheapo ppl who choose this kind of places to hanky panky! wad a shame tat they cant even afford the cheap hotel81 rm...
anyway, i've been staying at home, or rather in my rm, since i came home. not doing much either. was doing some chemistry revision before turning in for a nap. luckily i was woke up by germaine or else i'l be sleeping through the whole afternoon. doing some weights training and watching fish leong's mtv now.
yes!! damn boring.. i know.....
